It’s an age-old question that will only get more and more intense in the coming year as the Xbox 360 is in full swing and the PS3 and Revolution release. Which is better? What system is right for me? I would suggest both systems if you can possibly do it.

Computer gaming is more expensive now days so you must make the right choices in the equipment and games you select. Warhammer Mark of Chaos is the eagerly awaited RTS (Real Time Strategy) game by Namco Bandai. The game is fairly simple to get used to (after about half an hour you will probably be used to most of the basic controls) Basically, its mostly drag and click but there are some useful rotating/zooming options (all explained in the tutorial, which is a must for first-time players) and if a quick view reset is required, all you have to do is tap the Space Bar on your keyboard. Both the Empire and the Chaos campaigns are very similar, you move along a pre-determined battle path and fight battle after battle, meet and help a besieged town, duel an enemy hero and defeat and encampment of enemies.

Simulation games create a whole new world to explore, one that is virtually realistic. They represent a virtual environment, with virtual characters having interesting and life-like interactions between the various components of a virtual world. The graphics and sounds are often amazingly close to reality. Everything seems real, from the weather conditions over the Pacific in air combat games to the geography of lands in strategy games.

They are a new, higher pedestal of gaming, often combining elements of skill, chance and strategy, (like for a civilization building game), wherein real as well as fictional worlds may be simulated and often you see the world through the eyes of a fictitious character.

Most MMOG's create a persistent universe where the game goes on whether any player is online or not. Since however, it stresses on multiplayer gameplay, they usually have Artificial Intelligence, to allow the game to be played in single player mode and people do not leave if there is no other person online.

Unlike single player games MMOG's do not have an end point in the game. They are modeled in a way that the game goes on and the characters within it develop like real life. Counter Strike Source is a great game. You can talk to people via microphone and in-game chat. You can create little groups, also known as clans, which you can enter tournaments with and, if your good enough, win some money for yourselves.

Hand-eye coordination is another great reason why Counter Strike Source is the perfect game, this is a skill that surgeons need and they actually play games to help with that! I personally enjoy playing Counter Strike Source because it keeps me relaxed and focused on set objectives which are skills I can bring into the real world and apply here. Honestly, Counter Strike Source has actually improved my concentration at home, I am not as angry as I use to be and I have something to enjoy when I get home.

The media has got gaming completely wrong, especially violent games. Counter Strike Source does involve hurting people, but this game does not make me want to go outside and harm people myself. In this aspect, I believe the media have dragged it way out of proportion and concerned parents for no good reason. This alone had dropped sales for the booming game, but it never stopped the people who had already experienced and enjoyed this lovely game.

I strongly suggest to anyone who has not yet played it to buy the game or if you know someone who has it to go over and try it for yourself one time.
