LucasArts want adventure remakes

Publisher would love to bring back classicsThe excellent Fate of Atlantis classic point-and-click adventure has already been rereleased as a nice little addition to Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings on the Wii, and now LucasArts want more remakes of classic adventure games.A Monkey Island reinvention is also on the way, and if these retro hits prove popular we could see the likes of Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle and possibly more making a return."If this sells, there's no one at this company who doesn't want to do these games," revealed LucasArts' Brooks Brown. "It's a matter of showing that there's interest and this market is alive and get people as excited as possible about Monkey Island Special Edition to show that these things can make it".It is unclear which format these oldies might be released for, although the DS handheld seems like a natural candidate.
